New Junction releases a new land sales web site
With the imminent release of the first lots for public sale at New Junction, a new web site has been introduced to show why Midland in general, and why New Junction in particular, is a great place to invest.
Verde Lanes Land Assembly takes another step
Following Councils approval to purchase land from 53 the Crescent (adjacent to ANZ Bank) for road reserve, sewer works to compete the transfer of land were recently undertaken.
Verde Lane will link Junction Parade to The Crescent, with the stub off Junction Parade constructed.
Council Budgets to commence Trackside Entrance and Grandstand Way
Council, at its July Special Council Meeting, approved funding to commence the construction of two key roads.
$1m has been allocated to each street to commence construction this financial year.
Both link Junction Parade and Morrison Road.
Next Stage of Sewer Works Commences
Work on re aligning the sewer mains to under the proposed Trackside Entrance (between Junction Parade and Morrison Road) is now complete, allowing Swan Valley Fresh (Gilberts) to be able to dig a basement in the land they are purchasing from the City. Works included relocating the sewer connection from the rear to the front of 22, 24 and 26 Junction Parade.
New Junction Annual Report 2022 – 2023
Last night Council approved the release of the 2022 - 2023 financial year report which provides an annual snapshot of what has happened, including Council resolutions, events, planning progress, lot creation and land sales.
Title for lot 821 – the short stay site – issue
Following the demolition of the Senior Citizens building, the title for the new lot 821 has issued.

Council votes to retain four City owned heritage properties
At its meeting of 15 December 2021 Council resolved to amend the Midland Oval Redevelopment Master Plan to retain the following properties and their front setback
