New buildings on Junction Parade

Video Below

The first building in the New Junction precinct, Catalyst, has been completed, and is a mix of one, two and three bedroom rental apartments which have been strongly supported by the market.

Developed by local business identity Steve DeMol, Steve is the man behind the eight-storey mixed use retail, commercial and residential development on Junction Parade in the New Junction precinct. This is an important project, and is the first of three blocks totalling over 4,200m2 that Steve has purchased in the precinct.

Steve has applied for Development Approval to commence his second building, which is adjacent to Catalyst, and hopes to commence construction in 2024.

Key features of Catalyst are two sculptures and a rooftop garden with view over the airport to Perth city.  The six metre façade sculpture is by renown local sculptor Ron Gomboc and it entitled Embrace - embracing the old and the new.

The red brick façade is a nod to the heritage of Midland Bricks, a key part of where Midland has been, and like the sculpture, embraces Midlands New Junction.
