Explore Midland during the School Holidays

With these school holidays now in full swing and looking for ideas of activities to do with the kids, two play trails are available to explore around the Midland area.

The first explores the sporting history of Midland, and is focussed on Weeip Park at new Junction.

The second is a sculpture trail, starting at Weeip Park, visiting the old school and finishing at the old Railway Workshops.

The two new trails join the Nature Passport which encourages young children to explore nature in the City of Swan – trying new nature activities, journal escapades, record wildlife and tick off our list of 15 things to do.  The Passport provides activities at Weeip Park, Woodbridge Riverside Park, Harper Park, Midland Railway Square, Coal Dam Park and Juniper Gardens.

The play trails can be down loaded as

Or you can pick up the Nature Passport as a handy sized physical passport with stickers from the Swan Valley Visitor Centre, cnr Meadows and Swan St Guilford, or the City of Swan, 2 Midland Square, Midland.
