A great time Under The Sea

Friday 24 January was the first of this years Friday at LoCale series.

After several days of scorching heat the weather was pleasantly overcast with some rain.

Everyone who came down did have a lovely time, staying for most of the event which included childrens activities, a special story time and free arts and crafts. A special treat was singing and dancing with mermaids to the tune of a Disney themed band performance.

A big thank you to Laura, the Midland Junction Arts Collective team and the performers for putting on such an experience.

The next event starts at 5.30 pm on Friday 21st February.

Come down and dance to the beat of the drum while celebrating Lunar New Year. The event will have performances from cultural groups that celebrate the Lunar New Year, children’s activities and special story time for the whole family to enjoy.
